Part Time Personal Assistant Wanted For Flexible Weekend Work 

Are you looking for a bit of flexible work that can fit round your life? 

My son Tom is 17. He has autism and moderate special needs. 

Tom is a lot more chatty and social than many people with autism. He loves music, football, cooking,  He is quite independent .

The work would be either overnights Friday and/or Saturday. If you can’t do this but could do a few hours Fri or sat tea time that would work too.

Staying over at our house in Meole Village or him staying with you, whichever suits you. 

Whichever option you prefer, this is how I envisage it working

You arrive (or he arrives at yours): 7pm. You would have food with Tom, probably pizza. Have a chat with him, he is very chatty . max one hour.

He likes to disappear to his room in the evenings so he will do that. You are then free to do what you want, watch TV etc. I have an office with a desk at mine so you could do work if you need to. 

In the morning have breakfast together , have a chat etc - again max one hour. Shift ends at 10am

There are never any issues in the night time. You will hardly notice he is there. 

Rate of pay: £12.21 an hour = 15 hours for 7pm to 10am

Behaviour issues: these are minimal with people he is not super close to. Past PAs report that occasionally he can be a bit argumentative but this is on a par with typical teenage whining and eye rolling. Most of the time you will find him good humoured and chatty.

Payment: £12.21 per hour (plus reimbursement for drinks and food). This is paid by Shropshire Council monthly.

Dates are flexible, we can fit in with what works for you.
